Allegation Of Incompetence Leveled Against LBIC Management Boss, Folashade Folivi

Residents of Iponri Estate in Lagos, Nigeria have described the administration of Lagos Building Investment Company (LBIC) Managing Director, Mrs Folashade Folivi, incompetent and fell out of corporate governance as well as CBN Regulations which has exposed her managerial inexperience.

They said; It is imperative to put in the public domain the collapse and imminent threat to shareholders investments and confidence in the Company.
The Company's private placement was subscribed to shareholders in 2008 and it's not encouraging to say that nothing has been done since to boost shareholders confidence in their investments as no dividend was ever declared, no annual general meeting was held and no information to shareholders and/or other necessary knowledge was passed.
Further findings from "the displeased shareholders" showed that all attempt to call the attention of the previous management to address the issues and many others raised at different times were futile and that all they get as minority shareholders ( Lagosians) is the arrogance displayed by the company and its management.
All these actions, they said put to question the quality of the decision makers of the company viz a vis their qualifications and experiences.

The present directors who were appointed by His Excellency, Governor Akinwunmi Ambode in December, 2015 (as LASG were said to be the majority shareholder; the appointees resumes posted on the online showed that they have no required pre-requisite experience and skills to be saddled with the responsibilities of the day to day running of a bank talk more of a mortgage bank which is specialised financial institution.

“The results are beginning to show; loophole is still seen and we can only grasp on hope, hoping for Change".

“Ms Folashade Folivi, on assumption of office as Managing Director has been declaring losses from the operations of the company every month which now has over N100 million losses from June 2016. One would wonder why so, assuming the competence of the board was considered before appointment. It is glaring that the Managing Director has no iota of experience in the highly regulated banking industry and neither has she cut her teeth in financial intermediation at any reasonable level.

“If this trend continues, the company would by its financial year end made a loss of #200m and thus, capital erosion. This would further put other shareholders investment in continuous Jeopardy and for how long do we keep hoping for better result from an obvious inexperience board. Even if the state government can afford to lose its investment to the arrogance and inexperience of the MD, we the Shareholder can't afford it anymore, it has been a long term of endurance.”

According to another source in the Lagos State House of Assembly, “Ms Folashade Folivi, does not attend to oversight functions and issues  of Lagos State House of Assembly committees as she constantly display arrogance to summons of the House, Government Agencies, Government officials , institutions, regulators and political officers. The company under her watch kept piling up cost and losses given the harsh economic environment which requires ingenuity as financial institutions are under pressure daily.”

“On corporate governance, it was observed that no board is in place , no company secretary hence all is left  to the discretion, whims and caprices of the MD, which is not ideal in highly regulated environment.”

Observers said they do not understand if this process is so designed to satisfy her arrogance or doubtful political campaign patronage from Notore Chemicals where she was last employed; a company that is practically on its knee with huge deficit.

That her insensitivity to political activities around her threat and action to coerce residents of low cost  estates  in Iponri and Amuwo Estates by using state machinery (task force /kai) to dislodge residents of their means of livelihood in the estates, when the state political party is warming up for local government elections is uncalled for.

The residents are therefore said to be grouping for reprisal attacks in the event of any action. A move observers say has security implications for lives and properties and public perception of the company and Lagos State Government.

“What confidence would Lagosians /residents have in the good works and laudable programmes of His Excellency Akinwunmi Ambode, in raising capital from the public for a better Lagos when incompetent and inexperience people are appointed to the helms of affairs of such institutions. The governor should take note and act accordingly.”

Wife of late Nollywood actor, Mufutau Sanni, also known as Ajigijaga, Olaseinde Taiwo, is crying for help as she could no longer take care of the 3 children left behind by the Yoruba Nollywood actor who is known for criminal role in movies.
Celeb Police called her this morning when they got a hint that she has been soliciting for assistance from close friends and colleagues of her late husband; we equally got to know during our chat that she had lost her job for over one year now and could not fend for her 3 children again.
“Since the demise of my husband, I’ve lost so many things, including my job and I’ve to stand up again from all this falls. I’m begging Nigerians to please come to my aid; I’m calling on all good mothers who wished their children well to please come to my rescue so that I won’t suffer more. For now, my late husband’s former colleague is the one who assisting me with a property management job so as not to be begging around. Though, it’s been tough to get any customer because so many individuals are on this kind of business. So, I’m pleading to all Nigerians to help me as God in His infinite mercy will help them too.

Omonaija also called her and she added  that she’s planning to immortalize her husband with a Foundation that; “I don’t want his name to be forgotten because I love him dearly so, I thought of what I can do to immortalize him. That was why I decided to establish the foundation in our names and launch it on the 15th of September.”
She equally denied any move of remarrying after more than one year of his husband’s death saying; “I don’t have any plan of remarrying now; it’s not even in my agenda for now because I have 3 children already and there is no one to help me take care of them. So, I need to save them first before thinking of adding another. Though I can’t say what God might be planning for me later in life but it’s never in my plans now.”

Ajigijaga died on 31st of July 2015 after a brief illness.

Zambians Hails Pro. Joshua Iginla Over Confirmation Of President Lungu victory + Exclusive Videos Of Prophecy

Again popular Abuja prophet, Bro. Joshua Iginla has won the heart of Zambians after his prediction of the just concluded presidential election came to pass. Checks revealed that the fiery prophet in January 2016 prophesied that the incumbent president Edgar Lungu would retain his seat as president.
We gathered that it generated a lot of controversies especially when popular prophets across the world especially one from South Africa has chosen the opposition party as winner when the election would hold. Reports revealed that during Iginla’s three days crusade in Zambia On the 5th – 7th of May, 2016
He also declared openly to them that he saw two lions battling each other in the election but the older lion which is Lungu will emerge winner after a stiff competition.
In a Prophecy on December 31, 2015, He said ‘The economy will improve but not as expected. The election in Zambia will be will be like two lions fighting. The president should pray in terms of the election because I see betrayals from his camp and so called faithfuls. But in my vision, I see someone trying to pull him from his seat, yet he remain in the seat’’
Sources from Zambia confirmed to us that all he said about the election which took place on Thursday, 11th of August, 2016 came to pass.
It was a tough time for the Zambians as the battle for the seat of the President was one of a kind, one that has never being experienced.
The battle was between the Leader of Patrotic Front, who is also the sitting President, Edgar Lungu and his opponent, representing United Party for National development, Hakainde Hichilema.
The result of the election was released on Monday, 15th of August, 2016, in favour of President Edgar Lungu, confirming Joshua Iginla’s prophecy.
According to reports, Zambia's incumbent President Edgar Lungu has been declared the winner of a closely fought presidential election, but the result was immediately challenged by his main opponent Hakainde Hichilema. Lungu, leader of the Patriotic Front (PF), won 50.35 percent of Thursday's vote, against 47.67 percent for Hichilema, of the United Party for National Development (UPND), the Electoral Commission of Zambia said on Monday. The opposition party quickly, however, rejected the result, claiming the electoral commission had colluded to rig the vote against its candidate, to confirm the prophecy.

Similarly, In 2014, when Zambia President at that time, Michael Sata passed on after suffering from a strange illness, and an election was to be carried out, the Fiery Prophet, Joshua Iginla predicted that Edgar Lungu will be the President of the country whenever the election is carried out, even though Sata’s vice President, Dr Scott was appointed as acting President, Lungu was however appointed as the President after the election was observed

OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL... DATE: SATURDAY 13 AUGUST 2016 THEME: SELF DISCIPLINE

Memorise:
But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway. 1st Corinthians 9:27
Read: 1st Corinthians 9:24-27, (KJV)
24 Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.
25 And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.
26 I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air:
27 But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.
Message
Self-discipline is a personal commitment and decision to voluntarily yield every aspect of ones life to the Almighty God. This is ensuring nothing controls or influences your life outside the power of God. You must make no further provision for anything else to rule your life except the power of God. For this specific reason of desiring to be vessel unto honour, you deliberately narrow your choices to only what Jesus will have you do at any given time. When a man is self-disciplined, he will no longer entangle himself with the affairs of this life or with those things that add no significant value to his life as a Christian. Presenting your body as a living sacrifice is one of the ways to impose discipline on yourself.
“I beseech you therefore, brethren by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service”
Romans 12:1
The fact that some people are not determined enough to pay the price of self-discipline is a major reason why things will not work for them the way they expect. In life, nothing goes for nothing. Until there is a departure from certain things, there can never be a discovery of great things. No one will amount to something great until they are ready to make certain sacrifices, which must come through self-imposed discipline.
Having been a boxer myself, I can tell you that you can never become a champion in the world of boxing if you are not programmed to be self-disciplined. When an individual is not disciplined, he or she will not be able to go far in life. A believer will have to be disciplined when it comes to certain issues like eating, sleeping, talking etc. Some people cannot do without comfort for a while. There are some that are slowed down in life because there are numerous weights that they are entangled with. When you are not self- disciplined, it will lead to your being unfruitful and unproductive in the business of God. There are people who cannot pray as they should because they cannot allow anything to deny them of their sleep. Some people will always eat when they should be fasting just because they cannot deny themselves of food.
“Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one recieveth the prize? So run that ye may obtain”.
1st Corinthians 9:27
Here, Paul was portraying the struggles that one must contend with in the Christian walk if one will have to make full proof of his ministry. Apostle Paul was willing to make all sacrifices and commitments required in evangelising to the world. He was obedient to the demands of the gospel because of the assurance that He who called him was faithful to reward him in due time.
As believers, there is the need to show commitment in self-discipline to the task of our calling as ministers of the gospel. Those who prepare for competitions with the mind of receiving perishable rewards still give the competition all the sacrifice required, this is a big lesson for those of us preparing for eternal rewards. One must exercise no less commitment or sacrifice. As long as we faithfully run the Christian race, we can be assured of the gift of eternal glory in Christ Jesus. No matter the difficulties we encounter, we can be rest assured that the grace of God can be relied upon.
Prayer Point
Father, please remove anything that will hinder my greatness from my life in Jesus’ name.
