Photos: Incredible! Lagos Driver Hides 193 Wraps Of Cocaine In Passengers’ Socks Enroute Dubai

There seems to be no end to the various devices of drug peddlers in Nigeria beacuuse, when you think all means of peddling have been exhausted, another will surface or how do you describe a man who had wraps of cocaine under his socks to export.
Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) Lagos have arrested a commercial bus driver in Lagos named Maduewesi Ugochukwu Samuel, with 193 wraps of cocaine weighing 3.4kgs that was hidden inside his sucks. Samuel was arrested while attempting to board a plane heading to Dubai

When he was arrested, Samuel said he ventured into drug trafficking so he could make some money and quit his job as a commercial driver
“I am a commercial bus driver in Lagos. I am from Anambra State. My friend who lives outside the country introduced me into drug trafficking. He promised to help me with capital to start my business, but after sponsoring my trip to Dubai, he told me to smuggle drugs to Nigeria. I was instructed to conceal the drugs in my socks and that it will not be detected. They also offered to pay me the sum of N800,000 for safe delivery of the drug. I had wanted to start a supply business in electrical appliances but I am regretting my action because my wife is all alone while I am in NDLEA custody. This is her first pregnancy and she needs my attention. This is my greatest concern,”

Speaking on his arrest, the Chairman/Chief Executive of the Agency, Muhammad Mustapha Abdallah (rtd,) said
“This is an interesting arrest and I commend the officers for the discovery. Dubai-Lagos route is gradually gaining notoriety and we are monitoring it closely. Let me assure members of the public that the NDLEA is working very hard in preventing illicit drug production, trafficking and abuse in the country. During screening of passengers at the arrival hall, officers noticed that he had some items attached to his legs. It was cleverly done, but not good enough to escape our notice. When his socks was pulled down, suspected wraps of narcotics found to be cocaine fell down on the floor. He was immediately arrested and taken for further investigation”.

"I Never Knew Winning MBGN Is An Avenue To Get Marriage Suitors"- 2003 MBGN Cecilia Bissong

2003 Most Beautiful Girl In Nigeria, Cecilia Ohumotu Bissong has said she never knew winning the pageant award is a step to getting so many suitors to marry from that time. The Nigerian model, television presenter, and actress,  best known as Funke Lawal in Desperate Housewives Africa whose relationship with TNT Boss, Amaechi Okoye never worked out had an exclusive chat with Gbenga Shaba's Vnollynaija and has these to say;

ONB: Where have you been since you were crowned MBGN in 2003?

BISSONG: I have been in Nigeria working. I've been acting in movies and series.

ONB: How would you describe you experience as an Ex-beauty queen?

BISSONG: It was good, a great life experience.

ONB: Since 2003 what we're the projects you have embarked on?

BISSONG: I was modeling in the US for some couple of years. Got back to the country hosted the first Peak Talent Show, then I became a presenter for Africa Awakes on AFMAG and I have been acting professionally.

ONB: So, why has it been difficult to get married since you are successful career wise already?

BISSONG: Difficult to get married? So if someone isn't married means it is difficult to get married?

ONB: Does it mean you don't get along with Amaechi Okoye the TNT Boss that you are supposed to marry?

BISSONG: My private life is not something I discuss.

ONB: I'm asking because 13 years ago you won MBGN! And most people believed it's a part way to so many suitors! But, in your own case would you say there was no right man among all those that came?

BISSONG: What is this topic about man, man, man, right man or looking for man? Do girls win beauty pageant to find him? Because I never knew that was the reason. Thank you for enlightening me (then if that was it). We learn things everyday.
