The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life And he that winneth souls is wise. Proverbs 11:30

Read: John 15:1-7

1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.

2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.

4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

Jesus is the true source from which anyone can receive spiritual and physical sustenance. It is only in Christ Jesus that we can find peace, fruitfulness and the essence of life. It is by staying connected to Him that we can produce fruits. This is why we need to allow God to work in us so that we can be productive in every aspect of our lives. As we show an attitude of total obedience to God by bringing our lives into conformity with what His Word says, we begin to bear fruits that are profitable to God. To bear fruit in the vineyard of God therefore, there is a need to allow the Word of God to permeate every aspect of our behaviour; it is until then that our behaviour will begin to affect the lives of others.

Anyone who chooses to bear fruits will eventually be happy that he did so, because in the time of harvest, he will be the first partaker of the products of his wise decision. However, when you fail to be fruitful in whatever the Lord has kept in your trust, there is no way you can be blessed, and if you are not blessed, there is no way you can increase. There are people who give so many excuses for not bearing fruits. They complain about what others have and ignore what the Lord has blessed them with. They focus on the exploits of others and ignore their own vineyard. You can determine how far you want to go in life by the fruits you bear today. This is the reason why you should not be weary in bearing good fruits.

“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not”
Galatians 6:9

The truth of the matter is that whenever God entrusts a duty to your care and you handle it carelessly, you do not only short-change yourself, you are also telling God that you are not capable of making success out of that opportunity He has given to you. This is why I am so passionate about soul winning, because I know the wisdom involved in looking for those that have been tagged vagabonds and prodigals and bring them back through grace to the Father. The greatest thing you can give to anyone is not money but salvation, because this is what guarantees other things. We have to prayerfully identify people we can bring to the knowledge of Christ.

Father, help me to be a fruit bearing vessel in Your hand.

Jailed Nollywood Actress Ibinabo Fiberesima, Suffers Breast Cancer!

Nollywood actress and president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) Ibinabo Fiberesima, who is currently serving a 5-year jail term for manslaughter, was denied bail today by the Court of Appeal in Lagos after asking the Court of Appeal to release her on based on health ground pending when the Supreme Court would hear and determine her appeal against the court’s judgment

In a six-paragraph affidavit of urgency filed in support of her bail application before the Court of Appeal, one Victor Eden said Fiberesima had just undergone a surgery for breast cancer and was still under the watch of her doctors.

Eden said, “Her (Fiberesima) wound has not fully healed and as such she is afraid that her continued stay in the prison may endanger her life as she will not have access to special medical attention.

“It will be in the interest of justice and for her health and safety for the appellant to be admitted to bail pending the hearing and determination of the appellant’s appeal before the Supreme Court.”
But the bail application suffered a setback as the Court of Appeal adjudged it as incompetent.

Customer Accuses Fidelity Bank Of Short-Changing Her During Withdrawal. "When I got to diamond bank, the teller counted the money in my presence. One of the packets among the strapped bundle contained 66 pieces of 500 Naira denomination instead of 100 pieces..."

This enraged Fidelity Bank customer sent in this piece to on how she was dubiously short-changed by a teller in the bank to the tune of N17, 000 and was equally sad how the bank handled the case...

Here is her unedited story.
Good morning.
I am naturally not a trouble maker or attention seeker. But when people think they can play on my intelligence and cheat me, I won't stop till justice is served.
Yesterday, I went to Fidelity Bank Trans Amadi branch in Port Harcourt. I withdrew 275,000 from my account. The teller who attended to me wanted to pay me in 500 Naira denomination. She packed 5 packets, and told me she was going to strap the money. She strapped the money and put it in the envelope, plus 50 pieces.
I assumed the money was complete and left in a hurry because I wanted to go and deposit the money in a diamond bank account.
When I got to diamond bank, the teller counted the money in my presence. One of the packets among the strapped bundle contained 66 pieces of 500 Naira denomination instead of 100 pieces.
I drove back to Trans Amadi branch to complain. The teller confirmed herself that she picked the money from the bulk room and had not counted it, and she just strapped it up. She said the mistake might be from there. She told me to hold on.
Minutes later, the Manager came to see me. He told me to go back to Diamond bank and request to be shown their CCTV clippings of the transactions because he is sure the mistake is not from his branch. He said their accounts for the day was balanced and no excesses. He also said there was nothing he can do about it because it is my fault for not counting the money before leaving, and I am liable for the 34 pieces missing.
The manager said "should I give you back the money out of my own pocket? Do you think the bank keeps a special account filled with money where people that have complains like yours will be refunded?"
I feel cheated. Why will I be liable for a mistake that is clearly from the bank? This is not the first time I withdraw from my account and I rarely count to confirm because most withdrawals are huge amount. I have never had this issue of short payment before.
What hurts me more is that the Manager is not sympathetic to my plight. He was talking down at me! Why can't he show me clippings from his OWN CCTv to clear doubts? What makes him so confident that its Diamond bank's teller who "picked" the money?
I am not satisfied with this. I want my money back and an apology from the manger.
I have sent emails to the head office since yesterday and they have refused to reply me. Their customer care line is switched off. I sent DM to their Instagram page, they ignored me.
Pls help me share and repost till they finally pay attention.

"I believe in growing with my man not already made one" - Foluke Daramola-Salako.

Beautiful Nollywood thespian and film maker, Foluke Daramola Salako has said having an already made man is not a motivation for her in marriage but believed in growing with a man.
Foluke Daramola Salako. was a special guest at the 2016 event of the bloggers' night few days ago, which had her husband, Rotarian Olukayode Salako as the key note speaker. Foluke during a red carpet  interview with a cross section of the bloggers spoke frankly about her historical experience in the Nollywood and what she stands for as a woman.
She said, "first of all, my journey in the movie industry in Nigeria has been such a very good and fulfilling one. So far, I can say I have seen it all in the industry. I have seen the good; the bad and the ugly of all Nollywood can offer me and Nigeria. And honestly, I should say I am a bit fulfilled as a practitioner of repute in the industry. There is hardly any prominent actor in the industry I have not worked with or had an encounter with. The only discouraging factor right now is that film production is no longer bringing money like it used to be. And piracy as well as other evolutionary prevalent factors are responsible. Now, you go all out to produce a movie and at the end of the day, you end up releasing it into the hands of the enemies of the industry, the pirates. They are the ones frustrating our efforts in the industry. A lot of factors are also working against the survival of the industry, but piracy as well as the prevalent global economic downturn are the main factors. Right now, there is no money to be made like that in the industry and that is why many of our colleagues have resorted to venturing into other things to fetch them money, while quite a number of us have relocated from Nigeria in search of greener pastures elsewhere.
She also reiterated that all her life she has always lived to be seen a value based woman. "I have always lived to be seen as a value based woman, who can always be a role model to my generation. That is why it is difficult for me to abandon these values and be running after money of material things. I believe, with valuable life, the money can always come with time. If it is about money or material things, I should be one of the richest actresses in Nigeria, but I chose to earn my living through value based life styles. I don't think there is hardly any big and prominent men in this country I don't know or does not recognize me. At one point in time, I have met a lot of big men with tempting offers, but my nature would not just want to make money through undignified channels. I have come across a lot of offers- I have seen a lot of men, but those who know, know me that I would never betray the dignity of my womanhood. I am not a now, now person. I am a deep thinker. I don't get desperate over anything that is not dignifying. That is why I have not been a very rich actress like that, but I believe with my education, focus, uprightness and God, I will rise to become one of the iconic women this country will celebrate tomorrow. This is my goal and not to be rich through any means. During the last general election, I got offers to work for PDP and collect dollars, but my husband and I decided never to betray our principles and ideals. Hence, we refused to be swayed by the money inducement. This is who I am, a value based person, who is aiming to be celebrated later in life as a great woman in Africa and around the world. And I thank God for the kind of a husband God has given to me in Olukayode Salako. He is equally a value based person who believes in earning income through dignifying means. I am married to a very clean man, who I am proud of any day any time. If it is about the money, maybe I wouldn't have been patient enough to meet my own man today. There is hardly any top man in this country today that I have not met, but many of them will tell you Foluke does not sell her body for money. I am a woman of dignity. And that is how I want to continue live and been seen by my children and the numerous people I mentor."
On her projects, Foluke Daramola Salako (JP) said she is now more engaged with how to continue to impact more and more into the lives of the oppressed and abused across Africa as a human rights crusader and a humanitarian through the active running of her NGO, Passion Against Rape and Abuse in Africa (PARA Africa).
Her talk show 'The Morning After' which is aimed at promoting and propagating the ideals and objectives of her NGO, is currently making waves on Galaxy television.
The veteran and astute  Actress, Producer and Director has  featured and produced many movies over the last 20 years. Some of which are The Cobwebs, an English movie and My Blood (Eje Mi) coming out in the cinema soon.
On bloggers who published without verification, she said "before running celebrities down with what you write always seek the second side by verifying. Relationship between the bloggers and the celebrities should always be mutually and beneficially exclusive as the bloggers will always need the celebrities to survive or have something trending to write about and the celebrities too will always need the bloggers to grow and be relevant."
She wants Nigerian bloggers to be bloggers with conscience and not bloggers like the kind of relationship the Nigerian police have with Nigerians.

FG sacks PTAD DG who is alleged to be earning N50m monthly salary and allowances!

The Director General of the Pension Transition Arrangement Directorate (PTAD), Nellie Mayshak, has been placed on indefinite suspension and is being investigated after it was discovered that she allegedly received N50 million monthly in salary plus other allowances.

According to The Sun, the discovery was made possible via the Bank Verification Number (BVN) which the CBN used to trace the money being paid to her account every month.

According to the Finance minister’s Special Adviser on Media, Festus Akanbi,

“it is normal within civil service procedure to allow the DG to proceed on indefinite suspension pending when the investigation on the matter is concluded.”
PTAD was set up to take care of workers who retired on or before June 30, 2007 under the pay-as-you-go system. Myashak is the pioneer director general of the agency.

Those who are serviced by the agency include the police, customs, immigration, civil servants, para-military and other parastatals.

It was established in August 2013 in compliance with the provisions of section 30 sub-section (2) (a) of the Pension Reform Act (PRA) of 2004 (amended in 2014) which stipulated the establishment of an independent pension department for the public service of the federation.

According to Deaconess Titi Oshin the chairman of the Rehoboth planning committee.

If there is ever a time when we need the hand of God to manifest in our lives as a people and as a nation, it is now. Therefore, it is our expectation, that in this year\'s edition, the Lord will visit us individually and collectively and cause us to experience uncommon victory in every area of our lives. With God all things are possible(Mark 10:27). We are fully persuaded, therefore, that it is our season of visitation. No matter the circumstance, victory is guaranteed in Christ. We expect, after this conference, to hear testimonies of uncommon victories in impossible situations. The Lord shall bring it to pass.
Our part is to believe and receive!
Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” (Mark 9:23 NKJV)

The Christian life, though full of trials and all kinds of adversities, is, nevertheless, a progressive, an exciting and a very rewarding experience. This is so because in Christ we have been ordained, positioned and empowered to function in the realm of unlimited possibilities.
As believers, we are citizens of the Kingdom of God. This Kingdom rules and exerts power and influence over other kingdoms(Psalms 103:19). It is the King of this Kingdom that upholds all things in the universe by the word of His power. This Kingdom is unshakeable. The citizens of this Kingdom(Believers) are therefore unstoppable. They are indomitable and can never be limited because they are overcomers and have been designed in Christ to go from victory to victory.

And hast made us unto our God kings and Priests: and we shall reign on the earth. Revelations 5:10

Read: 1st Peter 2:9-10

9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;

10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

The problem with many believers is that they find it difficult to believe what the scripture says about them. We allow the devil to convince us, telling us that we are not as qualified as God says we are, and that we do not have the ability to do what the Word says we can do. God created us in His own image and gave us the ability to reign on earth. The capabilities and qualities required of us to exercise our priesthood were also given to us. However, many people are not exercising their positions as priests because they do not believe they are priests. They allow the opinions of others to determine how they live; they do not have minds of their own. People commit suicide on a daily basis because they know so little about themselves; they have no idea who they really are. As a child of God, you need to know that every word said about you in the Bible is ever dependable and reliable. It doesn’t matter the circumstances surrounding you at any given time, you must always see yourself as God sees you. Always see yourself in a positive light. Like David, encourage yourself in the Lord no matter what happens. Every morning when you rise up, know that you are a victor and not a victim; there is much more to you than you can see. There is much more to you than you can see. The Israelites saw themselves as grasshoppers before the giants, but in the mind of God the opposite was the case.
“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he:”
Proverbs 23:7a

The perception of who you are is crucial to your walk with God. As a royal priesthood, you are an embodiment of beauty, power and royalty. You are an epitome of God’s glory. You are created in the very image and likeness of God. All things created, visible and invisible are under your feet. This is why you need to take your place and not allow your life to be ruined by the devil.

Note however, that you do not have this right and liberty to reflect the image of God anywhere you are, if you haven’t given your life to Christ. Holiness must be a daily lifestyle to you. The nature of royalty as given to you by God must reflect in your appearances and discussion. You can no longer hate those who hate you; you have to show love and forgiveness to those who deliberately do things to hurt you. You have to do according to the instructions in Philippians 4:8:

“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lonely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there will be any virtue, and if there will be any praise, think on these things.”

It is when you do this constantly that you can become a partaker of the covenant privileges.

Father, please let your glory never depart from me.
